On March 29, officers concluded the investigation into the attempted robbery that was reported to have occurred in the 10200 block of Farragut Ct. in Manassas (20109) on January 8. During the investigation, officers identified one of the suspects and later obtained warrants for his arrest. On February 7, the suspect, identified as Devon Jamal AUSBERRY, was located and served while at the Rappahannock Regional Jail where he remained incarcerated on unrelated charges. Further investigation revealed the identity of the second suspect as Josef Montel REID. On February 8, officers obtained warrants for REID’s arrest. Initial attempts to locate the accused were unsuccessful. On March 29, REID was located and taken into custody in the Manassas area.
