Abduction | Attempted Malicious Wounding – 14100 block of Big Crest Ln. in Woodbridge VA

On April 4 at 7:24 PM, officers responded to the Riverside Station Apartments located in the 14100 block of Big Crest Ln. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an unauthorized use. The victim, a 42-year-old woman, reported to police that an acquaintance, identified as the accused, refused to return her vehicle after taking possession of it without her permission. Later that evening, when the victim returned to her home, she observed the accused drive up behind her. The victim immediately drove out of the area and onto Rippon Blvd. where the accused followed. At one point, the accused cut the victim off, forcing her to stop the vehicle on the side of the road. The accused then got out of his vehicle and attempted to open the victim’s car door. The victim was able to drive away and contact the police. During the investigation, officers determined that the accused had previously been observed outside of the victim’s residence attempting to gain entry into the home on multiple occasions. The accused would also follow the victim from her home to other locations. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Alfred Elitre ADAMS, who turned himself in to police without incident.
