On August 27 at 1:09 PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 4000 block of Aldie Rd. in Catharpin (20143) to investigate a domestic with weapons. The investigation revealed the victim, a 49-year-old woman, and a family member, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused followed the victim into a room where he kneed her to prevent her from leaving the room. While inside the room, the accused retrieved a firearm and brandished it while further threatening the victim. Eventually, the accused left the room, and the victim left the residence before contacting the police. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Erik Giovanni MOLINA, was arrested.
