On July 27 at 2:33 AM, officers responded to the area of Potomac Center Blvd. and Dale Blvd. located in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a domestic. The investigation revealed the victim, a 26-year-old woman, and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation while driving in the above area. While stopped at the above intersection, the victim attempted to get out of the vehicle when the accused grabbed her and pulled the victim back into the vehicle. As the accused drove away holding onto the victim, the car door shut on the victim’s foot. The victim was able to contact police who encountered both parties in the Dumfries area. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Matthieu Allyn ALVARDO, was arrested.
