On May 17 at 11:39 pm, officers responded to the Sutton Apartments located in the 2300 block of Vantage Dr. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a domestic. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 26-year-old woman, and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused physically prevented the victim from leaving one room and then a second room where the verbal altercation continued. At one point, the victim was able to separate from the accused and retrieve her phone to contact the police. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as David Mauricio MONTESINO, was arrested.
