Abduction | Residential Burglary –

Andrew Hany METRYOn June 23 at 10:04 AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 7500 block of Belle Grae Dr. in Manassas (20109) to investigate an assault. The victim, a 27-year-old woman, reported to police she arranged to meet at the above residence to discuss a rental agreement with a man whom she believed to be the homeowner. The victim and the man, later identified as the accused, were inside the home when the accused locked the door and propositioned the victim while attempting to take the victim’s hand. While the victim was contacting police, the accused began making inappropriate gestures before the victim quickly fled the residence. The accused left the residence prior to police arriving at the home. No injuries were reported. While investigating the incident, officers determined the accused did not own the home at that time and did not have permission to be inside the residence. Officers also determined the accused was previously informed he was not allowed inside the home. On June 24, following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Andrew Hany METRY, who was taken into custody without incident.
