On July 24 at 12:08PM, officers responded to investigate an assault that was reported to have occurred at the Shenandoah Station Apartments located in the 19300 block of Belleau Wood Dr in Triangle (22172) earlier that morning. The investigation revealed the victim, a 31-year-old man, and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused retrieved a knife. A struggle over the knife ensued and the victim sustained a cut to his hand. The parties eventually separated, and the victim left the area and reported the incident to police later in the day. The accused was located at the residence where she was detained without incident. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Anne Victoria HARROD, was arrested.
