On May 12 at 3:37 AM, officers responded to the Holiday Inn Express located at 14030 Telegraph Rd. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a robbery. An employee reported to police that an unknown man entered the lobby and asked to book a room. When the employee opened the cash register to complete the transaction, the suspect walked behind the counter and brandished a firearm. The suspect then took an undisclosed amount of money before leaving the hotel and fleeing in a dark-colored sedan. No injuries were reported.
