On September 24 at 9:58 PM, officers responded to the 14300 block of Bremerton Dr. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a crash. The investigation revealed a driver, identified as the accused, had struck a parked vehicle in the above area. Officers arrived and determined the accused was intoxicated. During the investigation, officers determined there were two children, a 15-year-old male juvenile and a 3-year-old girl, inside the vehicle with the accused at the time of the crash. The children were uninjured and released to a family member. While inside the police vehicle, the accused became unsecured. When officers opened the door to re-secure the accused, she threw the handcuffs, striking an officer. After a brief struggle, the accused was resecured without further incident. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Angelica Susana MORA RAMIREZ, was arrested.
