On March 27 at 12:16 AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 14900 block of Cordell Ave. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a destruction of property. While officers were investigating the incident, they observed an individual, later identified as the accused, strike an acquaintance, an 18-year-old woman. Officers immediately intervened and separated the parties before detaining the accused. The victim reported minor injuries. The investigation into the destruction of property revealed that the window was shattered when the accused threw rocks at the glass in an attempt to contact a resident of the home. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as a 15- year-old female juvenile, was arrested. While placing the accused inside the police vehicle, the accused bit and kicked an officer before she spat on another officer. The accused was resecured without further incident. The officers were not injured.
