On March 29 at 12:05 AM, while patrolling in the area of Richmond Ave. and York Dr. in Woodbridge (22191), officers conducted a vehicle stop on the driver of a vehicle who was unable to maintain their lane. When officers made contact with the three occupants suspected narcotics were observed inside the vehicle. When officers attempted to detain the occupants, one of the passengers, later identified as the accused, got out of the vehicle and began to flee on foot. After a short foot pursuit, and brief struggle, the accused was taken into custody. During the struggle, the accused struck an officer. While investigating the incident, the accused provided officers with false identifying information. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Henry John ROBINSON Jr., was arrested.
