On June 1 at 10:44 AM, officers responded to investigate an attempted burglary that was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 14700 block of Edgewater Dr. in Woodbridge (22193) earlier that morning, The homeowner reported to police that sometime between 2:42 AM and 3:12 AM, an unknown individual attempted to enter the residence through a bedroom window which was found tampered with. No entry was made into the residence and no property was reported missing
