On April 13 at 10:06 AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 1800 block of Cedar Cove Way in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an attempted burglary. A resident of the home reported to police that they were in their bedroom when they observed an unknown man in the balcony area. A dog inside the home began to bark and the man fled. No entry was made into the residence and no property was reported missing.
