On April 24 at 10:17 AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 3600 block of Carson Dr in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate an attempted burglary. The investigation revealed an unknown person attempted to enter the home through a basement-level door. A resident of the home reported hearing a noise. Upon checking the residence, an unknown man was seen attempting to squeeze through the door. The suspect was reportedly intoxicated and was believed to have been at the wrong residence. No entry was made into the home and no property was reported missing or damaged. The suspect was only described as a light-skinned Hispanic man in his 20’s.
