On September 6 at 3:21 AM, officers responded to the Stratford Condominiums located in the 8200 block of Winstead Pl. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a burglary-in progress. Upon arriving at the apartment building, officers located an apartment with damage to a window and a screen door. The investigation revealed the residents woke to loud noise and located the damaged window upon checking the apartment. Entry into the apartment was attempted using a rock that was found on the patio. No entry was made into the home and no property was reported missing. A police K-9 searched the area for a suspect who was not located.
