On August 21 at 8:00 PM, officers responded to the McDonald’s located at 14591 Richmond Hwy. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a brandishing. The investigation revealed the victim, a 26-year-old man, was inside the restaurant when a verbal altercation ensued with a group of younger males, possibly teenagers. During the encounter, one of the males pulled up his shirt and brandished a firearm toward the victim before fleeing the restaurant. At no point during the incident were shots fired. No physical contact was made between the group and the victim and injuries were reported.
