On September 3 at 7:30 PM, officers responded to the Summerland Heights Apartments located in the 1900 block of Gableridge Turn in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a fight with weapons. The investigation revealed a security guard was walking the complex when he encountered an unknown man. During the encounter, a verbal altercation escalated when the suspect brandished a firearm in his waistband. When the security guard contacted the police, the suspect knocked the phone out of the security guard’s hands and shoved him. The parties eventually separated, and the suspect left the area prior to police arriving at the apartment complex. No injuries were reported.
Suspect Description: A black male, between 25-35 years old, approximately 5’8”, and between 200-215lbs. Last seen wearing a head covering, a black crew-neck t-shirt, a gold chain & watch, and light-blue ripped jeans
