On July 10 at 11:35AM, officers responded to the Westgate Apartments located in the 8100 block of Pointer Ln. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a brandishing. The investigation revealed the victim, a 36-year-old man, was in the above area when he observed three unknown men possibly involved in illegal drug activity. When the victim confronted the men, one of them retrieved a firearm from the bag he was wearing and brandished it towards the victim. The victim walked away and retrieved a firearm before returning to where the suspects were standing. When the men observed the victim with the firearm, they fled in an older model black Nissan Sentra. At no time were any shots fired during the incident.
