On July 3 at 11:31 AM, officers were flagged down in the area of Richmond Hwy and Occoquan Rd in Woodbridge (22191) in reference to road rage. The investigation revealed the victims, a 27-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman, were driving on Gordon Blvd when they were involved in a road rage incident with the driver of a dark blue Kia Sportage. During the encounter, the driver of the other vehicle brandished a firearm and pointed it toward the victim’s vehicle. The suspect continued following the victims before they observed a police vehicle and reported the incident to the officer. The area was checked for the suspect vehicle which was not located. No physical or verbal contact was made between the parties and no injuries were reported.
