On July 2 at 4:47 PM, officers responded to the 15700 block of Norris Pond Way in Woodbridge (22025) to investigate a carjacking. The investigation revealed the victim, a 33-year-old man, met a teenaged male before the two drove to Tassia Ln where they were supposed to meet with two additional males. Once in the above area, the three males forced the victim from the vehicle before driving away. One of the suspects was allegedly armed with a handgun at the time of the encounter. No injuries were reported. Witnesses observed two of the suspects flee on foot from the vehicle while the third continued driving. Responding officers observed the vehicle in the area of Benita Fitzgerald Dr and Cardinal Dr. When officers caught up to the vehicle, it was located unoccupied on Silent Tree Pl. A police K-9 and helicopter assistance from Fairfax police searched the area for the driver who was not located. A short time later, a caller reported seeing three juveniles running along Foster Rd. The K-9 and helicopter also searched that area for the juveniles who were not located. The incident is not believed to be random. The investigation continues.

one had a tattoo on his left arm and dreadlocks, wearing a gray t-shirt while the other had tattoos on his right hand “has some red” wearing a black t-shirt and black sweatpants
