On July 23 at 12:56 AM, officers responded to the Kohls located at 12725 Foulger Sq in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate an alarm activation. When officers arrived at the business, the front glass door was found shattered. As officers were checking the area, a man, later identified as the accused, was seen matching the description of the suspect and was running across Smoketown Rd. Officers located the accused in the backyard of a residence on Marisa Ct where he was found to be wearing clothing items taken from the store. Later that same day, on July 23 at 7:23 AM, officers responded to Smoketown Tobacco located at 14222 Smoketown Rd in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary after a passerby observed damage to the front door of the business. Miscellaneous smoking items were reported missing. Officers ultimately connected the accused to the burglary and obtained additional charges. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Evan Michael BELL, was arrested in connection to both incidents.
