On May 8 at 4:30 AM, officers responded to the Tobacco King located at 1330 Old Bridge Rd. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate alarm activation. Upon arriving at the business, officers located damage to the front glass door. The investigation revealed that the suspect used a cinder block to shatter the front door in an attempt to gain entry into the business. No entry was made into the business and no property was reported missing. While investigating the incident, officers were informed that another alarm activation at the Tobacco Garden located at 13626 Jefferson Davis Hwy. Responding officers determined that a cinder block was also used to shatter the front glass window to gain entry into the store. No property was reported missing. A police K-9 searched for the suspect who was not located. Video surveillance revealed that the suspect appeared to be the same in each incident. The only suspect description currently available is a black male with a thin build wearing all black clothing. The investigation continues.
