On August 5 at 6:57 AM, officers responded to the Woodbridge Auto Auction located at 1108 Horner Rd. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an alarm activation. Upon arriving at the business, officers observed damage to the showroom window. Video surveillance revealed an unknown man used a cinder block to smash the window and make entry into the business. While inside the business, the suspect entered an office area before exiting the building and continuing to the parking lot where a vehicle was reported missing. While investigating, officers received information that the vehicle was located later that evening in Washington D.C. and recovered. The investigation continues.
