On June 1 at 9:25 PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 3200 block of Antrim Cl. in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a domestic. The victim, identified as a 36-year-old woman, reported to police that she and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated when the accused pushed the victim before using a helmet to strike the victim’s television. The victim left the home and got into her vehicle which was parked outside. The accused retrieved a firearm and re-engaged the victim in the verbal altercation while brandishing the firearm and making threats. After a short time, the accused went back into the apartment where he began a verbal altercation with another resident of the apartment, an 18-year-old man. During the altercation, the accused struck the male victim temporarily causing the victim to lose consciousness. Responding officers located the accused inside the residence and took him into custody without incident. Both the victims reported minor injuries. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Sean Devan TAYLOR, was arrested.
