Felony Child Abuse | Domestic Related [Previously Released] – On March 6 at 3:20AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 10800 block of Monocacy Way in Manassas (20112) to investigate an assault. The victim, a 30-year-old woman, reported to police that she and a family member, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused struck the victim multiple times. The two parties separated before the accused took their infant girl into another room. While holding the infant, the accused struck the adult victim several more times before he fell and landed on top of the infant girl. Rescue personnel responded and transported the infant to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The accused fled prior to the police arriving at the residence. The victim reported minor injuries. Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Jeffrey Alexander ESCOBAR. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.
