On October 21 at 2:30 PM, officers responded to Manassas Mall located at 8300 Sudley Rd. in Manassas (20109) to investigate an indecent exposure. The investigation revealed security personnel was notified of an unknown man sitting in the kid’s area exposing himself. Upon checking the area, security personnel observed the man, later identified as the accused, exposing himself and making inappropriate gestures. The accused left the mall prior to police arriving on the scene. While checking the area, officers located a man a short distance away who was determined to be the accused. While investigating the incident, the accused initially provided officers with false identifying information. There were no reports of any physical contact between the accused and the children. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Jonathan Charles JOWI, was arrested.
