The investigation revealed the victim, a 19-year-old man, and a family member, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused retrieved a knife and stabbed the victim before other family members intervened and separated the parties. The victim was transported to an area hospital where his injuries were determined to be non-life threatening. While investigating the incident, officers located the accused in the area of Neabsco Rd. where he was detained without incident. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Naqeebullah SEDIQI, was arrested.
