[Previously Released] – On August 3 at 7:46PM, officers responded to the McDonald’s located at 10730 Balls Ford Rd. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a fight with weapons. Upon arriving in the parking lot of the business, officers observed the victim, a 44-year-old man, suffering from a head injury. Rescue personnel responded and transported the victim to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The investigation revealed the victim was inside the restaurant when he observed an acquaintance, identified as the accused, going into his unsecured vehicle in the parking lot. The victim confronted the accused and a verbal altercation escalated when the accused brandished a firearm. During the encounter, the accused physically struck the victim with the firearm and then fled the area. No property was reported missing from the victim’s vehicle. Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Keith Avery DIAL Jr. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.
