Malicious Wounding | Domestic Related [Previously Released] – On August 18 at 8:33PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 4500 block of Hendricks Dr. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate an assault. The investigation revealed the victim, a 24-year-old man, and a family member, identified as the accused were outside of the residence when a verbal altercation escalated. During the encounter, the accused retrieved a tire iron from a nearby vehicle and struck the victim. Eventually, the two parties separated, and the accused fled prior to police arriving at the residence. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Marleny Edith SALAMANCA. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.
