On March 8, detectives with the Violent Crimes Unit identified the suspect involved in the assault that was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 13700 block of Greenwood Dr. in Woodbridge (22193) on March 4. The investigation revealed that the victim and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were at the above location when a verbal altercation escalated. During the encounter, the accused cut the victim before preventing him from leaving the residence. The accused left the residence prior to the caller locating the victim. Following the investigation, detectives obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Robert Dejell Rufus JACKSON. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.

Malicious Wounding [Previously Released] – On March 4 at 4:32AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 13700 block of Greenwood Dr. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate an assault. The caller reported to police that the front door of the residence was found ajar. Upon entering the home, the caller located a 41-year-old male resident suffering from multiple stab wounds. The caller contacted emergency services and the victim was transported to an area hospital where his injuries were determined to be non-life threatening. Detectives are investigating the incident to see what led up to the man’s injuries. At this time the incident does not appear random. The investigation continues.
