Murder Investigation *SUSPECTS IDENTIFIED – Somerset Pointe Apartments at 14000 Deming Dr. in Gainesville VA

On May 10, detectives with the Violent Crimes Bureau identified two suspects sought in connection to the fatal shooting that occurred in the area of the Somerset Pointe Apartments located in the 14000 block of Deming Dr. in Gainesville (20155) on May 8. One of the suspects is a juvenile. Detectives subsequently obtained arrest warrants for the adult suspect and detention orders for the juvenile suspect. Attempts to locate both suspects have been unsuccessful. Pursuant to a court order issued today, May 12, 2022, by the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court of Prince William County, the Prince William County Police Department received authorization to publicly release the identifying information of the juvenile sought in connection to this investigation. With the release of the juvenile’s information, as well as the adult suspect, police are asking for the public’s help locating these individuals. The Police Department is offering up to a $5,000 reward for the arrest and conviction of the suspects. Both individuals should be considered armed and dangerous. The investigation continues.
