On September 1 at 10:44 PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 13700 block of Kaywood Dr. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a shooting. The investigation revealed residents of the home were outside when they observed a silver 4-door sedan driving towards their location. As the vehicle approached the home, shots were fired from the vehicle before the vehicle quickly fled the area. No injuries were reported. An unoccupied vehicle parked in front of the home sustained damage consistent with being struck by projectiles. No suspect description is available at this time.
