On May 12 at 1:17PM, officers patrolling in the 13900 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy. in Woodbridge (22191) heard suspected gunshots in the area. Residents also reported to police that gunshots were heard before a silver-colored sedan with tinted windows fled the above area at a high rate of speed. Responding officers did not initially locate any evidence of a shooting. While continuing to canvass, officers located shell casings near the walking paths in the wooded area between Prince William Pkwy and Jefferson Davis Hwy. No injuries or property damage were reported.
