Reckless Handling of a Firearm – 16600 block of Galt Ct. in Woodbridge VA

On March 24 at 7:44 PM, officers responded to the 16600 block of Galt Ct. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate shots fired call. Residents reported to police that gunshots were heard in the above area before multiple individuals were seen fleeing on foot. The investigation revealed that the group of individuals was involved in a verbal altercation before someone from the group fired multiple rounds. No injuries or property damage were reported. While canvassing, officers located shell casings to the rear of a nearby residence.
