On June 1 at 2:55AM, officers responded to the 7800 block of Sudley Rd. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a shots fired call. Residents reported to police that shots were heard in the above area before a white SUV was seen fleeing the area. The investigation revealed that an altercation occurred between a pedestrian and an occupant of the SUV. As the SUV began to drive away, the driver abruptly stopped the vehicle and fired multiple rounds in the direction of the pedestrian. Both the white Porsche SUV and the unknown male pedestrian fled the area prior to police arrival. No injuries were reported. While checking the area, officers located damage to an exterior pillar of a nearby business consistent with being struck by a projectile. While canvassing, officers located shell casings in the roadway of the above area. No suspect description is available at this time.
