On May 14 at 11:15PM, officers responded to the area of Forest Grove Dr. and Henry Watts Lp. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a shots fired call. Residents reported to police that gunshots were heard in the above area. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 21-year-old man, was driving near Forest Grove Dr. and Gatehouse Ter., when he observed two unknown individuals on the side of the road. As the victim drove by the individuals, gunshots were fired towards his vehicle. The victim initially left the area and eventually returned where he encountered the police. The suspects fled prior to police arriving in the area. No injuries or property damage were reported. While checking the area, officers located shell casings on the ground near the above area.
