Reckless Handling of a Firearm – Lake Ridge Park at 12350 Cotton Mill Dr. in Woodbridge VA

On June 17 at 8:16AM, officers responded to Lake Ridge Park located at 12350 Cotton Mill Dr. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate found property. The investigation revealed that earlier that morning, at approximately 12:29AM, residents reported hearing gunshots in the above area. Initially, no evidence of a shooting was located. Later that morning, community members contacted police after locating shell casings in the roadway near the park entrance gate. No injuries or property damage were reported.
