Residential Burglary – 8700 block of Pebble Ln. in Manassas VA

On September 9, detectives with the Property Crimes Bureau concluded an investigation into a burglary that was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 8700 block of Pebble Ln. in Manassas (20111) on August 25 sometime between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM. The investigation revealed the suspect removed the air conditioning unit from the window to gain entry into the home. A computer, gaming equipment, a cell phone, jewelry, shoes, a watch, coins, and clothing were reported missing. During the investigation, detectives were notified by Fairfax County police that a man in their custody was found in possession of items reported missing from the above residence. Following the investigation, detectives identified the man as Lorenzo Antonio MELENDEZ RIVAS. On September 5, following the investigation, Prince William County detectives obtained warrants for the accused who was taken into custody by Fairfax County police without incident on September 9.
