On August 7, officers concluded the investigation into the burglary that was reported to have occurred at the Misty Ridge Apartments located in the 2000 block of Sequoia Ct. in Woodbridge (22191), on July 6. That morning, the suspect believed to be involved in the burglary was observed in the above area. When officers arrived in the area, they made contact with a man matching the description provided to police and ultimately determined he was involved in the burglary. Following the investigation, the man, identified as Umair Nauman KHAN, was arrested.

Residential Burglary [Previously Released] – On July 6 at 12:25PM, officers responded to the Misty Ridge Apartments located in the 2000 block of Sequoia Ct. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. A resident of an apartment reported to police he observed an unknown individual inside the residence. When the suspect observed the resident at the front door, he fled out of the rear sliding door. While checking the apartment, the family’s miniature Poodle was found injured. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. A bag was reported missing.
