On July 6 at 12:25 PM, officers responded to the Misty Ridge Apartments located in the 2000 block of Sequoia Ct. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. A resident of an apartment reported to police he observed an unknown individual inside the residence. When the suspect observed the resident at the front door, he fled out of the rear sliding door. While checking the apartment, the family’s miniature Poodle was found injured. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. A bag was reported missing
