On April 29 at 4:52PM, officers responded to the Westminister at Lake Ridge Engaged Living located at 12191 Clipper Dr. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. The investigation revealed that earlier in the day, a man, later identified as the accused, entered the building through an unsecured rear door. Video surveillance revealed that the accused walked around the building for a short time before entering into an unsecured apartment. While inside the apartment, an occupant of the residence returned and confronted the accused, who quickly left. The accused is then seen entering a second unsecured apartment. An undisclosed amount of money was reported missing from both apartments. Following the investigation, officers identified the accused as Wesley Joseph WOODEN HARRIS, and obtained warrants for his arrest. On April 30, the accused was taken into custody without incident.
