On September 2 at 5:59 AM, officers responded to the Woodbridge Forest Apartments located in the 1500 block of Monroe Dr. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary in progress. Upon arriving at the complex, the resident of the apartment informed police that an unknown man, later identified as the accused, was inside the residence. Officers located the accused inside the apartment and took him into custody. The investigation revealed the accused entered the apartment through an unsecured patio door and shortly after was located by the resident of the apartment. The resident quickly left the apartment and contacted the police. At no time was there any physical contact between the accused and the resident of the apartment. No property was reported missing. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Anthony Chris JOHSON, was arrested.
