On October 11 at 4:48 PM, officers responded to the 14000 block of Alaska Road in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a domestic. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 54-year-old woman, and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused pushed and struck the victim before choking her. The accused then removed money from the victim’s pocket and fled the home as police were arriving on the scene. A police K-9 and helicopter assistance from Fairfax County police responded to search for the accused who was not located. The victim reported minor injuries. Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Curtis Austin BOWEN.
