On April 20 at 1:40PM, officers responded to Henderson Elementary School located at 3799 Waterway Dr in Dumfries (22025) to investigate a threat written on a bathroom wall. The investigation revealed that a teacher located a writing on a wall in a stall in the girl’s bathroom. The teacher further observed two students exit the bathroom shortly before the message was found. The students denied involvement. The threat was written in pencil and had been mostly removed by staff prior to police arriving at the school. At this time, the threat does not appear to be credible.
