During the investigation, officers identified the suspect and later located him in the Woodbridge area. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Shane Benard LANGLEY, was arrested.

Sexual Assault Investigation [Previously Released] – On August 13 at 1:00 PM, officers responded to the Walmart Supercenter located at 17041 Richmond Hwy. in Dumfries (22026) to investigate an assault. The investigation revealed the victim, a 27-year-old woman, was shopping in an aisle of the store when she observed an unknown man nearby. A short time later, the man inappropriately touched the victim before leaving the aisle. The victim initially chased after the suspect who fled the store. No injuries were reported. The investigation continues.
