On April 26 at 5:36 PM, officers responded to the Riverwoods apartments located in the 2700 block of Dettingen Place in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate shots fired call. Residents reported to police that gunshots were heard in the above area. The investigation revealed two separate apartments sustained damage consistent with being struck with projectiles. No injuries or additional property damage were reported. Shell casings were recovered in the parking lot. A police K-9 searched the area for any suspects who were not located. At this time there is no suspect description.
