On March 29 at 8:19 AM, officers responded to the 2800 block of Chablis Cl. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a dispute between neighbors resulting in shots being fired. The investigation revealed that a male neighbor and the victim, identified as a 33-year-old woman, were involved in a verbal altercation in front of their homes. During the encounter, the neighbor brandished a firearm before chest-bumping the victim. The parties separated and the neighbor returned to his home. A short time later, a family member of the victim, identified as the accused, and the victim, went to the neighbor’s home where they confronted him. During the encounter, the neighbor brandished a firearm from inside his home toward the victim and the accused. At that point, the accused also brandished his firearm and fired multiple rounds toward the door as he and the victim fled. No additional shots were fired during the incident and no injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Stacey Edward CHAPMAN and the neighbor, identified as Mark Alan GRAY, were arrested.
