On May 9 at 6:28PM, officers responded to the 1400 block of Florida Ave. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a shots fired call. Officers arrived in the area and located a 20-year-old man who reported to police that he was walking down Florida Ave. when a white sedan drove by him. As the vehicle passed, an occupant inside shot a round towards the man before the suspect vehicle fled the area. No injuries or property damage were reported. At this time, the incident does not appear to be random. The investigation continues.
