On August 14 at 5:30 PM, officers responded to investigate a shooting that reportedly occurred in the 16800 block of Brandy Moore Lp. in Woodbridge (22191) earlier that day. Officers were initially called to an area hospital where an 18-year-old man was being treated at the facility for a nonlife-threatening gunshot wound. The man was not cooperative with investigators during the investigation regarding what led up to the shooting or the individuals involved. No additional injuries were reported. The investigation continues.
