Upon arriving in the area, officers did not initially locate the involved parties. Officers did locate shell casings and other evidence in the roadway and the grassy area of a nearby playground indicating an incident took place. The investigation revealed a black 4-door BMW with tinted windows was in the above area when an occupant of the vehicle began to exchange gunfire with a group of individuals who were on foot near the 3300 block of Benbow Ct.
